Swelik vs GoVisually in 2027: Mockup Sharing or Creative Proofing?

11/4/2026 · 5 minute read · By Swelik

Compare Swelik’s simple website mockup previews with GoVisually’s wider creative proofing and approval workflow, including who each one is designed for.

Checked November 4, 2026 for teams planning design reviews in 2027. Swelik and GoVisually both put creative work in front of reviewers, but they are designed around different amounts of process. Swelik is a lightweight way to present a website mockup through an unlisted browser preview. GoVisually focuses on creative proofing, review organization and approvals for teams working across creative deliverables.

This is not a universal ranking. A freelancer who wants one link for a landing-page mockup has a different requirement from a studio coordinating repeated proofs with several reviewers. We compare the products by that distinction.

What Swelik does well

Swelik is deliberately narrow. Upload a website design as PNG, JPG, WebP or PDF, or prepare it as HTML/CSS, and share a browser link. A client can scroll the full page and add comments in context without downloading a large attachment or creating an account. When the designer has a revision, the private management link allows the current mockup to be replaced while keeping the shared destination stable.

For the one-deliverable review cycle common to freelancers, this removes setup. There is no need to create a team workspace first or explain a complicated dashboard to a client. Swelik is currently completely free for its core workflow, which makes it practical to use for a small client review without budgeting a new subscription.

Its focus has limits: a preview link is not a complete proofing department. If you need a large number of active proofs, recurring checklists, team roles, administrative oversight or cross-project approval reporting, compare a more structured system.

What GoVisually does well

GoVisually’s official pricing page describes plans with active-project allowances, reviewer capacity, storage and approval features that vary by tier. It also positions its product around creative review and approval, with higher plans adding capabilities such as project templates, cloning, integrations and custom branding. This makes it worth considering when the organization has a repeatable creative review operation rather than one share link at a time.

The tradeoff is that process and capacity are tied to plan selection. The current page lists a free trial and paid pricing. Confirm the current limits, billing cadence and feature availability directly with GoVisually, especially when evaluating it for a 2027 budget.

Which should you choose?

  • Pick Swelik for an exported website mockup, a simple unlisted public link, no client sign-up, a stable URL across revisions and a free workflow.
  • Pick GoVisually if your team reviews many creative proofs, needs organized approvals and will use its team workflow features.
  • Use Figma alongside either when the reviewer needs to explore interactive prototypes or inspect source layers.
  • Use staging-site QA for behavior that cannot be established by a static design, such as form submission, menu operation or browser compatibility.

Run a fair two-tool pilot

Choose one recent website project, use the same exported file, and invite the same client reviewer. Measure how long it takes to open the design, locate the section under discussion, submit useful feedback and return to the latest revision. Track whether reviewers needed help, whether comments attached to the right place and whether the designer could tell which version the client approved.

Then compare the administrative side: storage, active project limits, reviewer limits, version history, download controls and total subscription cost for the team size you expect. Do not count a feature as valuable unless it will be used in your workflow.

Bottom line for 2027

Swelik is the stronger fit for a focused, free client presentation of website mockups. GoVisually is a stronger candidate when structured creative proofing and repeatable approval workflows are central. Start with the smallest workflow that solves the review in front of you, then move to a broader platform only when the process calls for it.

Frequently asked questions

Does Swelik replace GoVisually?

It can replace the mockup-sharing part for a simple website review. It is not intended to reproduce every team proofing or approval feature.

Does GoVisually have a permanent free plan?

Its current public pricing page promotes a free trial and paid plans. Plans can change, so check the official pricing page at the time of purchase.

Can Swelik keep the same client URL after a revision?

Yes. Replace the mockup from its private management page and the public preview URL remains the same.

Read the website design approval software guide, then create a free Swelik preview. Current GoVisually plan details are on its official pricing page.

Put this into practice with Swelik’s mockup sharing and review tools.
