DESIGN LINK → PDF

Figma frames

Select a frame from your Figma file and import it as a static PDF preview. Share the public link, then manually import later revisions from management.

For a clearer review

Requires file access and a read-only personal token. No prototype interactions, automatic sync or local .fig uploads. Manual PDF upload is also available.

PNG / JPG / WEBP

Image exports

Ideal for long landing pages and complete website concepts. Share the whole page in one continuous scroll, with the original file available for a closer look.

For a clearer review

Export at your intended desktop width. A small image cannot gain detail when enlarged.

PDF

Vector documents

Useful for layouts with crisp typography, presentations and multiple pages. The viewer redraws vector content as the reviewer changes zoom.

For a clearer review

Export text and shapes as vectors where possible. Photos and scanned pages still depend on their source resolution.

HTML + CSS

Browser layouts

Paste your markup or upload a self-contained HTML file. Review real text, spacing and responsive styles without turning the layout into a screenshot.

For a clearer review

Include your styles and embedded images. Scripts and external assets are restricted in uploaded design previews.

From your Figma frame to a client preview

Keep designing in Figma. Share a focused review in Swelik.

Import a selected frame as a PDF, give it an unlisted preview link, and return to the private management page when a revision is ready. Your client receives the design preview, not your Figma access token or editable source file.

01

Choose your frame

Select Figma import in the upload form. Enter a project name, design file link and a personal access token with file_content:read permission. Load the frames and choose the one you want reviewed.

02

Share the exported design

Create the preview and send its public link. The import is a static PDF: vector detail can remain sharp, while photos retain their source resolution. Prototype interactions and editable layers are not imported.

03

Update the same destination

Use Update from Figma in the private management page to import a later revision. Select the desktop, tablet or mobile target. Add separate device designs yourself; Swelik does not generate them automatically.

Your token is used for the request and is not saved in the database. This is a personal-token import, not Figma sign-in or automatic sync. File access, API limits and export complexity can affect imports. If an export fails, upload a PDF exported from Figma instead. Local .fig files are not supported.

A practical design-review workflow

01

Upload once. Share a link.

Upload PNG, JPG, WebP or PDF, or paste a self-contained HTML/CSS design. Give it a clear project name. Swelik keeps your original and provides a browser preview your client can open from one link.

02

Put feedback where it belongs.

A comment like “move this up” needs context. Clients can place a pin on the design and describe the change beside it. Coordinates scale with the image, so the same pin stays attached to the same detail on another screen.

03

Revise without losing the conversation.

Upload the next version through your private management link. The public URL stays the same, earlier versions remain in your history, and each version keeps its own comments and review events.

Website mockup hosting

Upload a static PNG, JPG, WebP or PDF up to 100 MB, or a self-contained HTML/CSS design up to 2 MB. Give the project a recognizable name and create a preview. Send the public URL to your client, and save the separate private management link for future revisions. Your client can open the preview in their browser.

Original detail, with a lighter option

Swelik stores the unchanged original and generates a separate optimized preview plus a small thumbnail. Typical website export widths stay intact. Oversized exports can be reduced to a sensible display width; images are never upscaled during processing. Very tall designs use a PNG fallback when they exceed WebP’s dimensions. Size reduction varies with the image.

Images open in original quality. Switch to Optimized for a smaller transfer. Vector PDF text is rendered again as you zoom, while HTML/CSS renders as a real, isolated browser layout. Raster images inside PDFs still have their original resolution limits.

01

Long designs, natural scrolling

A landing page should be reviewed as a whole. Fit Width follows the browser width and preserves the complete image proportions. Switch to 100% when you need to inspect the preview’s native pixels.

02

The right view for your source.

Images open in original quality, with an optimized option for smaller transfers. Vector PDFs render again as you zoom. HTML and CSS stay a real, responsive browser layout inside an isolated preview. Original files remain available to authorized downloaders.

03

Clear review decisions

Approve Design and Request Changes record a name, a note and a timestamp for the version being reviewed. Uploading a new version starts a new review cycle. Previous decisions remain in the history rather than silently applying to new work.

04

Unlisted by default

Public previews are excluded from search indexing and are not placed in a searchable gallery. Anyone holding a public URL can still open it. Keep private management links separate: they permit replacement, restoration and deletion.

A website comment tool for mockup reviews

In feedback mode, a client clicks the design to place a pin. Its position is stored as a relative location, so resizing the image keeps the feedback beside the same detail. PDF and HTML designs support general version comments. Owners can resolve or reopen comments, then preview the historical version that gave the comment its context.

Design approval with a clear review record

A review action asks for confirmation and records the reviewer’s supplied name. Approving Version 2 does not approve Version 3. Replacing or restoring a version starts a new current review cycle and retains previous review events. These anonymous records are useful working agreements, not identity-verified signatures.

If you are comparing design approval software or client sign-off tools, check the level of assurance your project needs. Swelik records feedback and review decisions for shared mockups. It does not verify the reviewer’s identity or provide an electronic contract-signing service.

Original files and private controls

Owners use the management link to rename, replace, restore and delete projects. Original downloads are available per retained version. Public downloads depend on the site and project settings. Keep the private link out of client-facing documents unless you intend to grant management access.

For freelancers

Save the management link alongside your project notes. Send the public URL with a short review brief: what changed, which questions need an answer and when feedback is needed. Use pins for local adjustments and Request Changes for the overall revision direction.

For agencies and developers

Use one stable reference through successive exports. Compare feedback against the version it belongs to, agree on the current review state, and download the original when preparing implementation. Swelik presents images, PDFs and self-contained HTML layouts. Use a dedicated prototype or staging environment when a review needs interactive behavior.

Make feedback useful

A good review starts
before you send the link.

A little direction helps your client respond to the design, rather than guess what you need. Include a short brief with every review.

  1. 01

    Set the scope

Explain whether this round is about structure, visual direction or final details. Keep the questions focused.

  2. 02

    Call out what changed

Summarize the decisions in the latest version so the client knows where to spend their attention.

  3. 03

    Ask for context

Encourage specific comments: what feels unclear, where it happens and what the visitor needs to understand.

  4. 04

    Agree on the next step

Resolve the feedback, upload your revision and ask the client to review the current version using the same link.

Before and after the preview

A clearer brief. Better website feedback.

A website feedback tool gives the conversation a place to happen. A clear brief and focused review questions give it direction. Use these practical guides alongside your Swelik preview.

A few useful answers

Common questions.

How does Figma import work?

Choose Figma import in the upload form, enter your project name, Figma design link and a personal access token with file_content:read permission, then load and select a frame. Swelik imports that frame as a static PDF. This is not an editable Figma file or interactive prototype.

Will Figma changes sync automatically?

No. Open your private management link and use Update from Figma to import the next revision for the selected device. The public project URL stays the same. Device layouts must be added separately.

Does Swelik save my Figma token?

The token is used for your import request and is not stored in the database. Keep it private. If the API export fails, you can export a PDF in Figma and use Upload file instead.

What is Swelik?

Swelik turns an exported website design into a browser preview with a shareable URL. It also keeps versions and lets clients leave contextual feedback without creating an account.

What file types and sizes can I upload?

PNG, JPG/JPEG, WebP and PDF files up to 100 MB, plus self-contained HTML/CSS up to 2 MB. PDFs support up to 100 unencrypted pages. Images also have a safe decoded-pixel limit. HTML asset ZIPs support up to 20 MB compressed and expanded. Figma import exports a selected frame as PDF. Local .fig files, SVG uploads and executable scripts are not supported.

Why optimize an image if the original looks good?

Images open in Original quality. Switch to Optimized to reduce transfer size where possible. A low-resolution image still becomes soft when enlarged; upload a wider export, a vector PDF or HTML for sharper desktop results. Scanned images inside PDFs retain their original resolution.

Can I replace a mockup without changing its link?

Yes. Use Replace Mockup in the private management page. Each replacement becomes a new version. The shared URL shows the current version, and earlier versions remain accessible to the owner and administrators.

How do pin comments and approvals work?

In Leave Feedback mode, click a point on the image and add your name and comment. Pins use proportional coordinates. Feedback is associated with the displayed version; the review status applies to the project. State which device layouts are included in any approval. Names are self-reported; this is a review record, not verified identity or an electronic signature.

How long do previews remain available?

New anonymous previews normally expire after 30 days. Your management page shows the exact date. Access stops at expiration; stored files are removed by the scheduled cleanup process.

Can I download the original?

Owners and administrators can download retained versions. Public visitors can download the current original only when downloads are enabled for the project and the site.

Is a private link the same as password protection?

No. Unlisted means there is no public directory or search indexing. Anyone with a public URL may view it. Share sensitive work only when that access model meets your needs.

Less attachment. More context.

Your next review starts with a link.

Bring the design. Keep the conversation attached to it.
